Local construction/grading company seeks construction Site Supervisor for full-time position.
The Site Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and managing assigned crew and jobsite activity and production. In coordination with COO, Project Manager, and subcontractors the Site Supervisor leads the jobsite to be on schedule with safety and quality.
This role closely communicates and coordinates with other team members. We are looking for a candidate who wants to promote an environment of safety and quality with a collaborative attitude.
Responsibilities and Duties
Job Site & Crew Management- Supervise and manage crew members in daily activities on job site
- Direct crew on daily preventative equipment maintenance
- Record, manage, and report crew work time and time off requests
- Conduct weekly jobsite safety talks and practice “Safely, All Day”
- Communicate production issues and constraints and implement plans to overcome
- Have ability and knowledge to operate all heavy equipment in a safe and efficient manner according to OSHA and other regulations as well as company policies
- Oversee and direct crew with GPS machine controls
- Collaborate with sub-contractors, general contractors, and other vendors for deliveries, assigned work, and strategic planning on jobsite
- Manage material and planning work per schedule
- Read and interpret engineered plans and stake in field; prior knowledge is required
- Oversee and direct clean job site and prepare and plan for weather for project schedule
- Oversee and maintain erosion control devices and report deficiencies
- Ensure heavy equipment is safely and securely stored
- Oversee onsite fuel tank level and inventory and communicate for deliveries
- Receive fuel logs, load count and hour logs daily for reporting
- Maintain all receipts and turn in weekly
- Maintain company vehicle to company standards
- Other duties as assigned and required by company needs
Skills and Knowledge Needed:
- Prefer prior experience as site superintendent OR at least 2-3 years as foreman with 1 year experience civil plan reading skills
- At least 2 years of dozer operating experience. Must be able to operate dozer, track hoe, skid steer, and other heavy equipment
- Knowledge of equipment safety and maintenance
- Experience with Topcon GPS machine control
- Grading and site prep experience for commercial and residential construction
- Comfortable with technology for daily reports, emails, and other mobile device communication and work on laptop and cell phone.
- Effective verbal and listening skills
- Maintain & promote client relations and team building
- Critical & strategic thinking with adaptability
- Drug-free
- Legally eligible to work in the US

- Work is performed outside in all types of environmental conditions
- Employee will need to be able to perform strenuous physical activity

Responsibilities and Duties
- Deliver and pick up material and construction equipment in a timely and safe manner
- Keep all necessary logs and paperwork daily
- Interact with customers/suppliers on various job sites
Requirements
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License.
- Minimum of 2 years driving experience
- Clean motor vehicle record.
- Team player with good customer service skills.
- CDL drivers are subject to DOT random drug and alcohol tests.

Local construction/grading company seeks construction laborers for full time positions. All applicants must have reliable transportation to and from work and must be able to pass a drug test. Competitive pay based on experience.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Using pipe laser and shovel to assist excavator in laying storm drain pipe
- Mixing mortar and using masonry to seal up storm structures and adjust heights
- Planting grass and installing straw matting
- Installing silt fence
- Plumbing for roof drain connections
- Work in backfill operations using shovel, gas powered rammer, and operating remote control trench compactor
- Set up/take down of traffic control
- Lubricate, clean, or repair machinery, equipment, or tools
Requirements
